Treasures of the German Baroque: CD Teaser!

Radio Antiqua is very proud to announce the release of its debut CD Treasures of the German Baroque: a collection of beautiful and rare chamber music works from different libraries in Germany. The release concert will take place on October 1st at Festival d’Ambronay, on a special evening celebrating the 10th anniversary of Ambronay Editions Label.

For those who cannot attend the concert next week, above is a live extract made during the recording session! The CD will be distributed by Harmonia Mundi & Qobuz

 

Artistic Residency at Collegio Ghislieri Pavia

Radio Antiqua is happy to be traveling back to Collegio Ghislieri in Pavia to work on new concert programs for the upcoming season. During their Eeemerging residency, the ensemble will also perform at the musicological symposium held by Ghislierimusica and Centro Studi Pergolesi on 9-10 October, featuring prominent scholars from the foremost European universities

Concert with Leandro Marziotte in Halle

After a successful concert last April in Istanbul, Radio Antiqua and countertenor Leandro Marziotte meet again in Halle, Germany. The concert will take place on October 17th at 18:00 in the Haendel-Haus (the same house where G.F. Haendel was born in 1685!). This special program features wonderful music by Porpora, Caldara, Bononcini, Corelli, Dieupart and Haendel, of course!

Live Broadcast at France Musique

On October 27th at 20:00 (CET), Radio Antiqua will be among the guests of the program Les Mardis de la Musique Ancienne of Radio France. The broadcast includes a live performance and an interview with Edouard Fouré Caul-Futy.  A great opportunity to find out more about our new CD!
